Krista Barnett, inventor of the BOOT BAND, realized that the options for purchasing tall-length boots were limited for those who had large calves. After Divine Inspiration from the Lord in 2007, Krista began designing and developing a product that would enable women to walk into any store and purchase boots right off of the shelves.

No longer will women who have larger calves have to feel excluded from mainstream fashion. With a 19-inch calf, Krista now owns a closet full of designer boots, ranging from Christian Louboutin, Prada, Coach, Michael Kors, and Juicy Couture. She is so excited about sharing this product with the world so that women of all sizes can feel the joy of wearing the boots they want.

Why was the BOOT BAND Created?

Many curvaceous women, including Krista, found it difficult to fit into the majority of stylish boots that are on the market today. Often times, the few boots that are available to women with larger calves are not as sexy and lack the appeal of trendier boot styles.

Women who have calves that are wider than 15 or 16 inches find it extremely hard to zip the zippers over their calves. Tucking jeans into boots is not even a consideration for women who have larger calves. Because the BOOT BAND is so easy to install and expands where you need it, wearing boots, and even tucking jeans inside of your boots are no longer a source of frustration.

Women of all shapes and sizes share the same dilemma: athletic women, slim and plus-sized women can all relate to not being able to wear tall-length boots.

About Krista Barnett

Krista Barnett is a native of South Carolina. With dreams of one day moving to the Big City, New York City, she decided to seize the day and achieve her goals. She packed her belongings and her dog and headed North in 2000, one year before the 9/11 attacks. Krista ventured into an unknown City without any prospects of employment or a place to stay. Within two weeks of arriving, Krista secured gainful employment in the Wall Street District of Manhattan where she enjoyed a successful career for 7 years until her first child was born. After which, Krista became a stay-at-home mom and devoted wife.

Although Krista worked only two blocks from the World Trade Center Towers, the devastation and the terror of the attacks not only affirmed her love of New York City, it also affirmed her resolution to impact the lives of others.

It is the same passion and fearless spirit that has guided Krista in the creation of the BOOT BAND - a product that will affect the lives of women in a way that will inspire confidence, pride, and a positive self-image. Being able to "fit in" is an issue that many women secretly struggle with, and with the BOOT BAND, Krista hopes that women are able to move one step closer to their idea of true beauty.
